Respondents Prayer: Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a direction to the respondents to produce the petitioner by name Paulraj, Son of Alaguthevar, aged about 52 years now lodged and confined at Central Prison, Madurai before this Court on the basis of the Letter (MS) No.1358, dated 10.11.1994 issued by the Respondent No.1 on humanitarian grounds on completion of 20 years actual imprisonment and under the Tamil Nadu Prison Rules 1993 and in accordance with law within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court, and set the detenu at liberty.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGANAM,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the detenu to set him at liberty on the ground that he has completed 20 years of actual imprisonment.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the Advisory Board has submitted a proposal to the Government on 07.05.2014 and the Government Order is awaited.
4. We direct the Government to consider the proposal of the Advisory Board and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above directions, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
