On reading of the final report, it is seen that the petitioners/accused attacked the defacto complainant in an quarrel, in which the defacto complainant suffered some injuries. It is also seen that based on the complaint given by the petitioner's party, a counter case is registered against the defacto complainant's party in Cr.No.271 of 2016.

2. As there are prima facie materials for the trial Court to proceed with the enquiry, this Court cannot interfere with the proceedings at this stage. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the first petitioner is a marine engineer and he is seeking employment at abroad and therefore pending of this criminal case is likely to affect his career. Accepting the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the Trial Court is directed to complete the trial in C.C.No.259 of 2015, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months, provided https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioners/accused cooperate with the trial by engaging advocate and cross-examining the witnesses, without taking unnecessary adjournments.

3. The criminal original petition is closed with the above direction. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
