PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to take necessary action to issue patta in favour of the petitioner's company Speed Boomi Promoters, No.65, 1st Floor, Moohambigai Nagar, KTC Nagar, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli - 627 011 in respect of the property in the survey numbers in 380/1, 380/2, 380/3, 380/4, 380/5, 381/2, 381/3, 382/1 and 382/2 situated at Varthagareddipatti Village, Thoothukudi Taluk and District by considering the petitioner's application dated 20.05.2024 within a stipulated period as framed by this Court.

The petitioner's grievance is that his patta application given to the first respondent is pending from 20.05.2024. Despite the second respondent having forwarded the application of the petitioner to the third respondent on 24.07.2024, the third respondent has not passed any orders. Hence, the petitioner has preferred the present Writ Petition.

2.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, the third respondent is directed to conclude the enquiry and pass orders final orders on the petitioner's patta application within a period of eight [8] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
