The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondent to absorb her to the post of Lab Assistant as requested in her representation dated 05.12.2014.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she is working for the past five years as Lab Attender under the 2nd respondent and she is entitled to be promoted to the post of Lab Assistant. Whether the petitioner is entitled to such post and whether she is possessing requisite qualification for promotion to such post is for the respondent to consider and decide and therefore, this Court at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits and claim made by the petitioner.

3. As it is seen that the petitioner has already made a representation on 05.12.2014, it is for the first respondent to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
