Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2021 in respect to the issuance of Assignment Patta in Survey No.3/1 situated at Kambiliyampatti Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District within the time frame fixed by this Court.

*********** This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2021 seeking for issuance of assignment patta in her favour in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.3/1 situated at Kambiliyampatti Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner claims that she is in possession of the aforementioned property from 1985 onwards. She has produced documents in support of the same. It is for the respondents to consider the same. She has sought for assignment patta and has given a representation for the said purpose. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Heard Mr.C.Prithviraj, learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeyapriya, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

W.P.[MD]No.8674 of 2022 4.No prejudice would be caused to the second respondent, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and any other necessary party whom the second respondent deems fit to enquire.

5.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2021, seeking for issuance of assignment patta in her favour for the property comprised in Survey No.3/1 situated at Kambiliyampatti Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and any other necessary party whom the second respondent deems fit to enquire.
