and 2nd respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and here family member from the threats and unlawful interference of respondents 3 to 8.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner from the threats and unlawful interference of the respondents 3 to 8. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that they have received the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.02.2025 and the same is under consideration and they will conduct enquiry and dispose the same within a period of one week. 3.Considering the prayer sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition without issuing notice to the private respondents.

4.The prayer of the petitioner is to provide police protection by considering her representation and the receipt of representation of the petitioner is also admitted by the respondent police, therefore, it is for the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders.

5.In view of the above, this Court hereby direct the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry based on the representation of the petitioner and dispose the same, after affording opportunities to both parties, in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of this order.

6.With the above observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
