O R D E R
This petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to survey and demarcate the boundaries the petitioner's share situated in Survey Nos.328/1A1A and Survey No.332/3A of Malaya Goundanpatti, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District based on the petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2026 within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner, along with his two brothers, namely Raju and Muthu, is entitled to the ancestral properties. It was further stated that they executed a registered partition deed dated 25.01.1996, vide Document No.151 of 1996. The petitioner had earlier submitted an application on behalf of his brother Raju and paid the requisite fee for measurement and demarcation of the petitioner's share in Survey Nos. 328/6, 332/3, 328/1, 328/3, 328/4, and 328/5. Subsequently, the petitioner submitted 2/6
another application dated 23.12.2025, along with the required fee, seeking measurement and demarcation of his individual share in Survey Nos. 328/1A1A and 332/3A. The petitioner also submitted a representation dated 30.01.2026. However, the respondents have not taken any steps to survey the property, hence the present petition has been filed.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's application has been duly received and will be taken up for consideration in accordance with the petitioner's turn based on seniority, and the property will be surveyed accordingly.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to conduct the survey with assistance of the 3rd respondent after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the petitioner's brother namely Raju and Muthu. If necessary, seek police protection, the Jurisdictional police shall provide police protection to survey the land. The Court is also directing the Official respondents to adhere to the following Standard Operating Procedures: 3/6
a. The Official respondents shall issue notice to the petitioner immediately reaching the spot where survey is to be conducted. The petitioner shall affix the signature by receiving the notice of survey.
b. After survey again the petitioner shall affix signature indicating that the survey was conducted to their satisfaction.
c. If the petitioner is not satisfied, then also the petitioner shall affix signature indicating their dissatisfaction or with protest. The petitioner shall indicate that reason of their dissatisfaction or protest. The aforesaid procedure shall be strictly followed by the parties The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
