Prabu : Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the person or body of the detenu, namely, Keerthana, daughter of Dharmalingam, aged about 17 years, before this Court and hand over the custody to the petitioner. O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the person or body of the detenu, namely, Keerthana, daughter of Dharmalingam, aged about 17 years, before this Court and hand over the custody to the petitioner.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions from the second respondent police, reports that on 03.06.2017, the detenu attained the age of 18 years. He further submits that this is the second time, the detenu has eloped with the person with whom she eloped earlier.

3. In view of the above, while closing the Habeas Corpus Petition, we direct the second respondent police to trace the detenu and produce her before the jurisdicational Magistrate. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS-III) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
