PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No. 4/2024 on the file of the respondent police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested on 16.03.2024 for the offence under Sections 9(f), (m) & 10 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), 2012 in Crime No.4 of 2024, seeks bail. 2.The petitioner, Head master of the Government Middle School, S.Karakudi, is facing serious allegations that he misbehaved with the students. 1/3

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has projected the case based on the First Information Report.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent strongly opposes for grant of bail and produced the Statements recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C from four students. He further submits that a complaint has not been received from one student and this petitioner has misbehaved with several students and they are intending to record the statements under Section 164 Cr.P.C of the other victims also.

5.In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the investigation is in crucial stage and also considering the nature of allegations, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. sd/- 10/04/2024 / TRUE COPY / /04/2024 Sub-Assistant Registrar ( C.S.
