ORDER

****** [Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to issue Hindu Malaiveedan Community Certificate to the petitioner's daughters viz., Archana and Santhiya respectively by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.09.2018. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that though he made a representation dated 14.09.2018 to the respondents to issue Malaivedan Community Certificate to his daughters, the said representation has not been considered so far. Hence, he has come up with the present writ petition.

3.Considering the limited scope of the matter, without going into the merits or claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation/application of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner for issuance of Malaivedan Community Certificate to his daughters, and pass appropriate orders, on merits, by conducting an enquiry. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion about the claim made by the petitioner. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
