ORDER
Heard both sides. With the consent of the learned counsel on either side, this writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner wants to conduct the petition mentioned event which was also permitted. However, permission to conduct Adal Padal and Karakattam were denied. My attention is drawn to the circular memorandum dated 01.06.2023 issued by the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu. It can be seen therefrom that there is no objection as such for conducting the cultural programmes. Merely because election is impounding, permission need not be refused. The petitioner however has to abide by the conditions set out in the said circular memorandum. The circular memorandum shall form part of this order. The petitioner has to adhere to the conditions stipulated therein. The impugned condition No.2 is alone set aside. The petitioner is permitted to conduct the petition mentioned event.
