ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner on the guise of enquiry except under due process of law.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that in spite of repeated notice, the petitioner has not appeared before the respondent police for enquiry and hence, a case has been registered against the petitioner in Crime No.134 of 2023 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

3. The grievance the petitioner is that she went to Thanjavur for eking out of the livelihood more fully grazing goats in the agricultural fields and that she was not able to appear before the respondent police.

4. Now, whatever it may be, ase has been registered against the petitioner, she has to appear before the respondent police and co-operate with him to complete the investigation. 2/4

5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
