Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.P.T.RAMESH RAJA, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.S.RAVI, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to grant extension of time to comply with the order dated 30.03.2021 made in Crl.O.P.[MD]No.4855 of 2021, for surrender before the learned Special Court for POCSO Act cases, Madurai.
2.This Court, by order dated 30.03.2021 made in Crl.O.P.[MD] No.4855 of 2021, directed the petitioner to appear before the concerned Magistrate Court, within a period of two [2] weeks from the date on which the order copy was made ready. However, the petitioner did not comply with condition, within the time prescribed by this Court. Hence, he approached this Court with the present petition for extension of time to surrender and execute the sureties.

CRL MP(MD) No.3757 of 2021 4.Considering the reasons stated in the petition and also considering the prevailing pandemic situation, this petition is ordered and the time to surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court is extended by one month from the date of resumption of regular work in subordinate Courts, in view of the present pandemic situation.
