*********** [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent 1 and learned counsel appearing for respondent 2.
2. The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the body of the detenu, namely SriPriya, female, aged about 19 years before this Court and set her at liberty.
3. The petitioner is claiming that he had married to the detenu. The detenu has been produced in the Court by the first respondent Police and we have questioned the detenu, who states that she has not married to the petitioner, but she is known to him and for a brief period, they were in love. She now states that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
she has realised her mistake and she wants to continue her studies and wants to go with her father/second respondent. We have advised her and she appears to have taken the advice in a proper manner. Thus, we find that there is no illegal detention. Therefore, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
