PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the 2nd respondent to secure the petitioner's daughter Nandhini, aged about 19 years the detenue and produce her before this Court and set her at liberty forthwith and entrust her to the petitioner's custody. The petitioner seeks production of the person of his daughter, namely, Nandhini, aged about 19 years. According to the petitioner, his daughter went missing on 10.02.2022. Apprehending that she has been kidnapped, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition. He has also cited the private respondents 3 to 5 as the persons responsible for his daughter going missing. 2.Mr.A.Thiruvadikumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, upon instructions, would https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
H.C.P.(MD) No.664 of 2022 submit that the daughter of the petitioner has married the 5th respondent, namely, Arun and photographs of the marriage have also been produced.
3.In view of the said revelation, we do not think that there is any illegal custody involved as alleged by the petitioner. Hence, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
