Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the second respondent to produce the person or body of the detenu, namely, Buvaneshwari wife of Jeevanandam, daughter of Periyasamy aged 23 years from the illegal custody of the third respondent before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM,J.) The petitioner claiming that the detenu is his wife, has filed this petition alleging that she is under the illegal custody of the third respondent - father of the detenu.

2. The detenu has been produced by the respondent police before this Court and we have questioned her. She stated that she is an Engineering Graduate and while admitting that she is known https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to the petitioner, who is also working in the Radiology Department, emphatically denied that there is no marriage between herself and the petitioner. She further stated that her photographs have been morphed and certificates which he has filed, have been downloaded from the web pages.

3. We have also questioned the petitioner, who appears to be very much interested in the detenu, but he has not produced any proof to show that there has been a valid marriage.

4. Thus, we find that there is no illegal detention of the detenu and therefore, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (Writs) /True copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To 1.The Superintendent of Police, Trichy District, Trichy.
