Heard the learned counsel on either side. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner seeks interim custody of the petition mentioned vehicle.
3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the vehicle in question has been produced before the Jurisdictional Court in R.P.R.No.121 of 2020 on 21.07.2020. Therefore, the petitioner has to necessarily move the Jurisdictional Court. The petitioner's rights are left open.

2 W.P.(MD)NO.8583 OF 2020 4.The petitioner's counsel states that he will file a petition for return of vehicle immediately before the Jurisdictional Court. The Jurisdictional Court is directed to dispose of the said petition to be filed by the petitioner within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of the petition. With this direction to the Jurisdictional Court, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. No costs.
