This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents police not to harass the petitioners and their family members and not to interfere with the civil dispute.
2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by one Anbuselvi D/o.Swaminathan, the second respondent police initiated an enquiry against the petitioners in C.S.R.No.159 of 2020. He would further submit that after due enquiry, since the dispute between the petitioners and said Anbuselvi is civil in nature, both of them are advised to approach the Court of law and thereafter, the enquiry has been closed.
3.The submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded.
4. Hence, it is made clear that no complaint is pending on the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P.[MD]No.8102 of 2020 file of the second respondent, the respondents police shall not call the petitioners in the guise of enquiry and harass them. 5.With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
