ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) The Habeas Corpus Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking production of his wife before this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that his wife, Sivagnanam, aged about 39 years, was found missing from 14.02.2024 and the petitioner has given a complaint to the respondent Police on 16.02.2024. Since no action has been taken, the present Habeas Corpus Petition is filed.

3. When the matter is taken up today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's wife, Sivagnanam had eloped with one Sakthivel, who is the husband of one Muthumari. Based on the complaint given by the said Muthumari, a case is registered in Crime No.164 of 2024 for man missing. He would further submit that the respondents are taking steps to trace the petitioner's wife and the said Sakthivel and as and when their whereabouts are known, it would be intimated to the petitioner herein.

4. Recording the above submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
