This Civil Revision Petition is filed for a direction to direct the learned District Judge, Thoothukudi, to dispose of the Adoption Petition No.66 of 2018 within the time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners. 3.The learned Counsel for the revision petitioners submitted that there is specific statutory limitation for disposing an adoption petition, like this.

4.Considering the grievance of the petitioner and the nature of prayer sought for in this petition, this Court is inclined allow this petition with the following directions:

C.R.P(PD)(MD)No.495 of 2019 5.1.The learned District Judge, Thoothukudi, is directed to dispose of the Adoption Petition No.66 of 2018 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed. No costs.
