Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the respondents to produce the body and person of the petitioner's son by name M.Gobala Krishnan S/o.Murugesan, aged about 21 years holding passport in passport No.L-5681395, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that pursuant to the order, dated 11.04.2017, passed by this Court, blood samples of the petitioner have been taken and the same have been sent for DNA profiling to the Tamil Nadu Forensic Science Department, Kamarajar Salai, Mylapore, Chennai, in order to find out the parentage of the dead body and the same have been received by the Laboratory on 20.04.2017 and the case has been assigned number as "DNA-117/17". 2.Taking into consideration of the fact that identity of the dead body has to be expeditiously determined, this Court directs the Director, Tamil Nadu Forensic Science Department, Kamarajar Salai, Mylapore, Chennai, to complete the DNA profiling in Case No.
DNA-117/17 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and send the report to the concerned Police. On receipt of the report from the Laboratory, the respondents / Police shall proceed further in this matter. 3.This Habeas Corpus Petition is, accordinlgy, closed.
