ORDER
Mr.R.Anandharaj, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. With the consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.
2. Mrs.Meena has filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents herein to appoint her in the post of "Cook" as per the proceedings of the third respondent, dated 31.07.2015, within the stipulated period.
3. According to the petitioner, she has got all the requisite qualifications as per G.O.Ms.No.106, dated 17.01.1986, for the post of Cook and registered her name in the District Employment Exchange. In addition to that she has also got two years experience for the post of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Cook. In such circumstances, she has attended the interview conducted on 12.08.2015 pursuant to the call-letter issued by the third respondent with all certificates. Her grievance is that though certain candidates, who are juniors to her in the seniority list have been selected, she was not selected in spite of possessing experience and eligible qualifications. Therefore, she has filed this writ petition seeking the relief as stated above.
4. Although the petitioner has contended in her affidavit filed in support of the writ petition that some ineligible candidates are selected by the Interview Committee for the post of Cook, there is no whisper with regard to the name of the candidates, their qualification etc. In the absence of such details, this Court is not in a position to entertain this writ petition. That apart, when the petitioner has attended the interview held on 12.08.2015, without even challenging the selection list citing sufficient reasons, it is not open to her to seek direction for the concerned authority to appoint her as a Cook.
5. In the result, this writ petition fails and it is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (CO) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
