ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and give necessary police protection to conduct the Kabadi Tournament from 21.03.2026 and 22.03.2026 at about 08.00 am to 09.00 pm at Kumarakudi Village, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District based on the Petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2026.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has made a representation dated 12.03.2026, seeking necessary police protection to conduct the Kabadi Tournamentat Kumarakudi Village, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District. Since the same was not considered, he has come before this Court with this writ petition. 2/4

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's representation would be considered and appropriate orders will be passed.

4. Heard either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the submission made on either side, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2026, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
