ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, apprehending arrest at the hands of the second respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 498A IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act in Crime No.not known, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that it is only a petition enquiry and that no case has been registered as against the petitioners.

3. Since no case has been registered as against the petitioners, the question of granting anticipatory bail does not arise. Therefore, recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition stands closed.

4. However, taking into account that it is a matrimonial dispute, this Court is inclined to refer the matter to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Bench. Registry is directed to place the matter before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, which shall take up the case for mediation, by issuing notice to the parties, after resumption of normal working.
