The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct the 'Aadalum Paadalum' cultural programme on 25.06.2018 in pursuant to the Aani festival of Arulmigu Sree Vinayagan - Sree Karuppasamy - Sree Mariamman & Sree Uthirakaliamman Thirukovil, situated at Pampattipatty Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 23.06.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner has made a representation on 23.06.2018 to the respondents to grant permission to conduct the Adal Padal cultural programme on 25.06.2018 and filed the writ petition seeking for the relief of permission to conduct the Adal Padal programme on 25.06.2018. Therefore, this Court cannot grant such https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

relief especially when the programme is to be held on 25.06.2018 (today). Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. But however, this order will not stand in the way of the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 23.06.2018. No costs.
