O RDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for issuing direction to the respondent No.1 to preserve the entire CCTV Footage records on the date from 03.02.2023 at about 6.00 a.m to 04.02.2023 at about 6.00 a.m in the respondent No.2 police station which is vital material in Crime No.46 of 2023 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2023 sent on 18.02.2023.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Sid) would submit that only 15 days of CCTV footage can be preserved. According to him the occurrence took place on 03.02.2023 and that the representation was given by the petitioner on 18.02.2023 after a period of 15 days. He would further submit that now, there is no possibility of retrieving the CCTV footage available with the respondents.

3. In view of the above said fact, the petitioner is directed to work out his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
