ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner purchased some furniture for his house from the third respondent's shop. In this circumstance, the third respondent approached the petitioner with an idea to start the furniture business in the petitioner's name in Sivakasi area and assured to supply the furniture on payment, for that, the petitioner paid a sum of Rs.18,00,000/- to the third respondent for supplying the furniture to the new shop. But, the third respondent did not supply the furniture in time. While this is being on, on 09.05.2021, when the petitioner went out, an Advocate and uniformed police entered into the petitioner's house and threatened the petitioner's wife. Thereafter, the second respondent contacted the petitioner's wife and threatened her to return the third respondent's cheque leaf. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.7296 of 2021 respondent police. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 4.Whatever might be the circumstances, the 2nd respondent police is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.05.2021 by following the principles laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in D.K.Basu Vs. State of West Bengal reported in AIR (1997) SC 610.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
