ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed by the landlords, who are the petitioners in R.C.O.P.No.85 of 2014 on the file of the Rent Controller-cum-Additional District Munsif Court, Tiruchirapalli. 2.The revision petitioners filed the eviction petition against the respondent/tenant. During the pendency of the proceedings, the revision petitioners filed an application in I.A.No.101 of 2015 in R.C.O.P.No.85 of 2014 under Section 11(4) of the Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act 1960, to pay the entire arrears of rent. Before the matter was disposed of, the Rent Controller directed the tenant to deposit a sum of Rs.9,30,000/- towards arrears of rent from the month of January 2012 to February 2017 within one month. Since the condition was not complied with, the application in I.A.No.101 of 2015 in R.C.O.P.No.85 of 2014 was allowed by the Rent Controller. Aggrieved by the same, the respondent/tenant has preferred an appeal in R.C.A.No.32 of 2017 before the Rent Control Appellate Authority-cum-Principal Subordinate Court, Tiruchirapalli.

3.The present revision petition is filed by the landlords seeking direction to the Rent Control Appellate Authority to dispose of the appeal in R.C.A.No.32 of 2017 within a reasonable time.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance expressed by the revision petitioners, this petition is allowed and the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Tiruchirapalli, is directed to dispose of the appeal in R.C.A.No.32 of 2017 within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

C.R.P.(PD)(MD)No.617 of 2019 period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
