ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct III Additional Assistant Sessions Judge, Madurai (Camp at Usilampatti) to expedite the trial and dispose of the case in S.C.No.191 of 2015 on its file within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that this petitioner and his close relatives are facing prosecution in S.C.No.191 of 2015 before III Additional Assistant Sessions Judge, Madurai (Camp at Usilampatti).

4. It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is an Ex-service man and is not able to get an alternative employment on account of the pendency of this case. Hence, the petitioner seeks speedy disposal of the case. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Taking into consideration the nature of the case, this Court directs the trial Court to complete the trial in S.C.No.191

of 2015 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided the petitioner and other accused engage Counsel for defending themselves and that they crossexamine the prosecution witness on the date when they are examined in chief without adopting dilatory tactics.

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
