Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records, connected with the detention order of the second respondent in No.27/BCDFGISSSV/2017 dated 10.04.2017 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu by name Jeyakumar @ Jattykumar, son of Jothimani, aged about 43 years, confining at Madurai Central Prison before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention, dated 10.04.2017 in Detention Order No.27/BCDFGISSSV/2017, detaining her husband as "Goonda", as contemplated under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of dangerous activities of Bootleggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual-Offenders, Slum-grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 14/1982). https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.2810, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 14.06.2017, and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, the petition is dismissed.
