O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] Today, the detenu-Vijayalakshmi is produced. On enquiry by us, she stated that she wanted to pursue her studies, but, her parents were making arrangement for her marriage after she completes 18 years and, therefore, she went to her cousin's sister's house in the nearby village.
2. Pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.216 of 2017 has been registered on 19.04.2017 for "girl missing".

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the girl was secured and she was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board, Madurai, on 22.04.2017 and on the orders of the Board, she is presently lodged in Sakthi Videal Home, Madurai.
4. Since the detenu stated that she is willing to go with her parents, who are present here and that the parents have also assured this Court that they will not try to marry her off in a hurry and that they would provide her education, we are of the view that no useful purpose would be served by producing the detenu once again before the Juvenile Justice Board, Madurai.
5. In the result, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed and the custody of the detenu is handed over to her parents. All further proceedings in Crime No.216 of 2017 before the Juvenile Justice Board, Madurai, stands closed.
