Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to accept and to register the Memorandum Deposit of Title Deed dated 25.02.2026 in Natham S.No.250/6 after Sub Division Natham S.No.233/250 now in T.S.Nos.179, 180 and 181 to a total extent of 3995.75 Sq.ft. of land along with house situated at Ward-D and Ward 31, South North Street, Thirumalai Nayakkan Pudhukudi Village, Puliyankudi Sub Registrar Office, Tenkasi Registration District, in accordance with law, within a stipulated period as framed by this Court.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to register the Memorandum of Deposit of Title Deed dated 25.02.2026.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, after obtaining a due token, when the petitioner attempted to present the document for registration, the same was refused by way of an oral order.

3. Per contra, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that, though a slot was booked, the petitioner did not present the document for registration.

4. In view of the above, without going into the truth or otherwise of the rival submissions regarding the earlier events, the writ petition is disposed of with the following direction:- (i) The petitioner shall appear before the second respondent / Sub-Registrar on 30.03.2026 at 10:30 a.m. and present the said document for registration. Upon such presentation, the document shall be received, processed, and appropriate orders shall be passed in accordance with law. (ii) The parties shall act on the basis of a web copy of this order, without waiting for the certified copy.

No costs.
