No.45/2017, dated 13.04.2017 and to quash the same and direct the Respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu, Amachiar, S/o.Panneer Theavar, aged about 39 years, before this Court and set him at liberty, now detained at Central Prison, Palaymkottai.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention, dated 13.04.2017 in M.H.S.Confdl.No.45/2017, detaining her husband as "BOOT-LEGGER", as contemplated under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of dangerous activities of Boot leggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 read with the order issued by the Government in G.O(D).No.13 Home Prohibition and Excise (xvi) Department, dated 18th January, 2017 under Sub Section (2) of Section 3 of the said Act.
