ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the impugned communication, dated 29.09.2014 of the respondent rejecting the application for educational loan in respect of the petitioner's daughter and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Counsel for the respondent.

3. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner has produced a record that the petitioner's daughter has appeared Counselling through the Tamil Nadu State Government and therefore, the petitioner's daughter is entitled to get the benefit.

4. In view of the above, the earlier order of rejection is set aside and the Respondent Bank is directed to consider the application of the petitioner's daughter afresh and pass appropriate order within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in the light of the Reserve Bank of India instructions and the Indian Bankers' Association guidelines.

5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
