Jebasingh, aged about 26 years, who is the wife of the petitioner from the illegal custody of the third respondent before this Court and set her at liberty.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] The petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition claiming that he is the husband of the detenue and she is missing.

2. Considering the averments made by the petitioner, on 02.06.2017, we referred the matter for mediation. After completion of mediation between the parties, the Mediation Centre has submitted a report, dated 12.06.2107, stating that mediation could not succeed and therefore, the matter is before us once again.

3. In such circumstances, we are of the view that there is no illegal detention. The petitioner is directed to return all the original certificates of the detenue and all her personal belongings if any to the detenue within a period of three days from today.
