that he has been severely beaten and the photographs produced also would prima facie indicates that the statement made by the detenu before us, has some meaning. On a query, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the case registered in Crime No.206 of 2017 before the Valliyoor Police Station will be altered to major offence under Section 307 of IPC.

2. Recording the above submission and taking note of the fact that the detenu has been secured, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
