Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner suffered an order dated 07.02.2022 at the hands of the second respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed appeal before the first respondent. The prayer made in the writ petition is for directing the first respondent to dispose of the said appeal.

3. No exception can be taken to the said request. The first respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after putting all the interested parties on notice.

4. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the first respondent to pass orders one way or the other. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
