O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent police not to harass the petitioner in a civil dispute among the parties.

2.According to the petitioner, he is the authorised signatory of the company and already entered into agreement with TANGEDCO for installation of solar power plant and already based on the complaint given by the second respondent, the first respondent registered a case in crime No.179 of 2023 and the same is pending. While so, the first respondent, at the instigation of the second respondent, insisted the 2/5

petitioner to settle the money to the second respondent. Hence this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that already based on the complaint given by the second respondent, the FIR in Crime No.179 of 2023 was registered. Only for the investigation purpose, the respondent police issued summons to the petitioner, but he has not appeared for enquiry in turn, he filed this petition. Therefore, the respondent police have not harassed the petitioner and only called the petitioner for interrogation purpose.

4.The learned Counsel for the second respondent would submit that the first respondent, without any authority having the power transmission lines through the petitioner's land and thereby, the complaint has been lodged already before the first respondent, for which, the said FIR was registered.

5.Since the prayer of the petitioner is only not to harass and the first respondent also denied the alleged harassment and only they called 3/5
