[Order of the Court by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Heard Mr.C.Gangai Amaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.Mohan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

2. The petitioner seeks for producing his son / detenu, who is a minor, aged about 11 years, stating that he is his son. The respondent Police, on investigation, ascertained that for the past several years, the minor boy is in the care and custody of the third respondent, who is none other than the husband of his sister-in-law and it is stated that the minor boy has been given in adoption. Further, the respondent Police ascertained that the minor boy is going to school in Karipatti Taluk. Thus, we find that there is no illegal detention.
