O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.Vimala,J.,) The petitioner, who is the father of detenu, has moved this petition for a direction to the Respondents 1 and 2 to produce his daughter, namely, Nagajothi aged about 24 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. According to the petitioner / father of detenu, his daughter was found missing from 15.03.2017. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint and a case has been registered in Crime No.77/2017 under Section 366 IPC. Even thereafter, since no effective steps have been taken by the respondents 1 and 2, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has filed a status report, in which, it is stated that the detenu has written a letter stating that she married Rajkumar/3rd respondent and she is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

living with him. It is further stated that despite the letter, investigation is in progress and a special team has been constituted to trace out the whereabouts of the detenu.

4. Under such circumstances, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with a direction to the petitioner to file a fresh petition, if any, fresh cause of action arises.
