The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to rectify the error in the revenue records with regard to the actual extent of the property situated Patta No.679 of Karambakudi Village and Taluk, Pudukkottai District based on the Petitioner's representation, dated 24.1.2022. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.It is the case of the Petitioner that he is in possession and enjoyment of the property with an extent of 00185.8 sq.mtrs in S.No.229/6 in Karambakudi village and Taluk Pudukkottai District and recognizing his long possession, patta was granted in his favour. However, in the patta issued to the Petitioner, the extent was wrongly mentioned as 00124 sq.mtrs. Likewise in FMB for the subject property, the extent is wrongly mentioned as 117 sqmtrs. Hence, the Petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader who appears for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation submitted by the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.
5.In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the Petitioner, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 24.01.2022 and pass orders on its own merits after issuing notice to the Petitioner and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.
