Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the proceedings of the Impugned Order in CEP. No. /13/2024-25 dated 17.03.2025 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same and further directing the respondents to remove the entry of attachment in Sub Registrar Office in respect of the properties belonging to the petitioner.

O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed challenging the surcharge proceedings of the first respondent, dated 17.03.2025 and for a consequential direction to the first respondent to remove the entry of attachment in the Sub Registrar Office in respect of the properties belonging to the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submitted that an appeal for the same issue has been filed by the petitioner in C.M.A.(CS) No. 10 of 2025, which is currently pending before the Principal District Court, 2/4
Thoothukudi. The next hearing is scheduled on 25.04.2025. It is for the petitioner to seek the appropriate remedy before the concerned appellate Court.
4. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is closed, granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent appellate Court. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
