ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH,J.) The present Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to remove the public toilet being constructed in Survey No.70, Elambuvanam Village, Ettaiyapuram Taluk, Thoothukudi District viz., Mathapuram Odai, Elambuvanam Village and restore the Odai to its original on the basis of the representation dated 16.04.2021 addressed to the respondents herein.

2. The prayer sought for in the present Writ Petition has become infructuous since it is represented by the learned Additional Government

Pleader appearing for the official respondents that the construction of public toilet in Survey No.70, Elambuvanam Village, Ettaiyapuram Taluk, Thoothukudi District, has been discontinued and another toilet has been constructed in Survey No.42. Hence, the Writ Petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
