For Respondent : Mr.M.V.Chandrasekar, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory bail in Crime No.83 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who are arrayed as Accused Nos.1 and 2, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 427, 294(b) and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.83 of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on on 07.05.2021, due to drunken mood there was a wordy quarrel between the petitioners and the defacto complainant. The petitioners attacked the defacto complainant with bottle and used abusing words and filthy language and threatened the defacto complainant.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners never committed any offence as alleged by the respondent police and the injured person has been discharged from the hospital. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that already there are four previous cases against the first accused in Crime Nos.795/2015, 1293/2011, 1963/2015 & 334/2017 and two cases are pending against the second accused in Crime Nos.30/2020 & 68/2019. The investigation in this case is also in progress. Therefore, he strongly objected for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and also considering the fact that the petitioners are having some previous cases to their credit and the investigation is also in progress, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
