2. The case of the petitioner is that the river bed is used by some anti-social elements for consuming Kanja and alcohol and that instead of taking action against such anti-social elements, the fifth respondent-Police is harassing the petitioner to take away his vehicles from the place, where he has been parking the vehicles for the past four years. In this regard, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 29.04.2021 to the fifth respondent. Since the representation is still pending for consideration, the petitioner is constrained to move the present petition before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

4. Though the prayer in this writ petition is for a larger relief, the learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his argument to the limited extent of directing the fifth respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 29.04.2021, expeditiously.

5. Considering the limited prayer now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the fifth respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 29.04.2021, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
