ORDER

The petitioner is before this Court seeking a direction to the third respondent to expedite the enquiry and issue a birth certificate to the petitioner's sister, Hemalatha Paulpandian, pursuant to the enquiry notice dated 22.01.2026.

2. The petitioner submitted an application seeking issuance of a birth certificate for her sister, who is presently residing in Belgium. Though the third respondent issued a notice dated 22.01.2026 for conducting an enquiry, the petitioner contends that no further steps have been taken to conclude the enquiry.

3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the enquiry would be conducted and concluded within the time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

4. The said submission is placed on record. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to complete the enquiry, pursuant to the notice dated 22.01.2026, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. There shall be no order as to costs.
