O R D E R

The prayer in the writ petition is to direct the second respondent to issue patta or a certificate to show the possession of Survey No.14 in the Inamreddiyapatti Village, Virudhunagar Taluk and District in favour of Arulmighu Sri Vadakkaththiyamman Thirukovil in accordance with the orders passed by the first respondent on 22.9.2014 and 01.10.2014.

2.According to the petitioner, even as early as on 01.10.2014, the District Collector passed an order directing the Tahsildar to pass appropriate orders either to grant patta or to issue no objection certificate for granting electricity service connection. In spite of such specific direction, the authority has not passed any order as directed by the District Collector, the first respondent herein. In fact, the electricity service connection sought for by the petitioner has been rejected by the proceedings of the electricity board dated 04.12.2014 only on the ground that the patta has not been obtained or no objection certificate has not been granted by the Tahsildar. Therefore, the present writ petition has been filed for the aforementioned relief. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.In such view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to pass appropriate orders after giving

sufficient opportunity to the petitioner in tune with the order passed by the District Collector dated 01.10.2014 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
