PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 439(1)b Cr.P.C. praying, to modify the condition imposed by the learned Principal Special Court for EC & NDPS Act cases, Madurai in Crl.M.P.No.1219 of 2018 dated 28.03.2018.

ORDER

The petitioner was granted statutory bail on 28.03.2018. A condition was imposed to the effect that he will report before the respondent daily at 10.00 A.M.,. But the said condition was not complied with. Therefore, the respondent has moved the Special Court for cancellation of bail. In the meanwhile, this petition for modification has been filed.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had contracted urinal infection. He has also produced medical records in support of his contention. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is ready to appear before the Special Court for EC & NDPS Act cases, Madurai.

3.Therefore, the condition earlier passed by the Special Court is modified and that the petitioner is directed to appear before the Special Court for EC & NDPS Act cases, Madurai on all working days.
