Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take necessary steps based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 02.09.2015 to the 2nd respondent and consequently direct the 1st respondent to supervise the activities of the 2nd respondent in petitioner complaint dated 02.09.2015.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) The prayer in the writ petition is rather vague and confusing. However, what we could discern from the argument of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that one Sankar claiming to be a contractor is collecting excess charges for parking vehicles in and around Arulmighu Sankaranarayanaswamy Temple. In this regard, the petitioner has given complaint to the Municipal Commissioner, the second respondent herein. According to him, it is the duty of the second respondent to stop such illegality and the District Collector, the first respondent herein should supervise the action to be initiated by the second respondent. 2.We do not express any opinion on the merits of the case except to direct the concerned authority to consider the nature of complaint given and ensure that there is no illegal or unauthorised collection by any person whomsoever.

3.With the above observation, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
