O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.209 of 2019 dated 30.09.2019 and to file the final report on the file of the respondent.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the defacto complaint in this case and based on his complaint, a case in Crime No.209 of 2019 was registered for the offences under Sections 120B, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 420 of IPC. Thereafter, the respondent has not filed the final report within the time. Already the petitioner has approached this Court in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.17333 of 2023 and this Court also directed the respondent to file the final report within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order through an order dated 27.09.2023. However, the respondent has not filed any final report. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that they already completed the investigation and the final report is ready, they will file the final report within one week.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition and already this Court also directed the respondent to complete the investigation and file the final report within two months, and now the respondent has also completed the investigation and the final report is ready, recording the above said submission of the learned Government Advocate, this criminal original petition is closed.
